COSTA DEL SOL BEACH
The Costa del Sol It has the beach of the same name considered one of the best and most famous beaches in El Salvador. This extraordinary Salvadoran beach has a wide extension that ranges from 12 to 15 kilometers, considering it the longest beach in El Salvador. In this place the great majority of Salvadoran coastal marine birds converge, serving as a nesting site for many of them, it also houses a great diversity of terrestrial species associated with bodies of water and lowlands in general. The Costa del Sol is home to a great variety of mammals, reptiles, local and migratory birds, and a marine fauna that makes it a unique tourist attraction.
It is the beach area with the greatest hotel development in Salvadoran tourism, in recent years the beach of the Costa del Sol has been modernized by leaps and bounds, offering a varied hotel infrastructure, much visited by national and foreign tourists who enjoy a place attractive and unforgettable.
Day 05 Costa del Sol – Suchitoto

09:00 | Tour of the city of Suchitoto, we will appreciate its history, reflected in the originality of its streets and the artisanal construction of its houses. |

14:30 | After lunch you will have a training workshop to learn how to make pupusas, sauce and tanning of cabbage with onion and carrot the delicious typical national food, these will be served for a good dinner. |

08:30 | After breakfast depart for tour and an indigo workshop, you will learn how dye clothes with a natural product from a plant grown in the area. |

Day 06 Suchitoto – La Palma – Suchitoto
08:00 | Departure to the archaeological site of Cihuatán. It was a large city dating from the Early Postclassic period of Mesoamerican chronology (950-1200 AD). |
08:30 | Visit to Cihuatán which in Nahuat means “The place of women.” The name of this place is due to the strategic location in the plain, this relates it to the landscape of the area, which allows the formation of a female silhouette on the opposite mountain to be identified. |
09:00 | Departure to the artisan city of La Palma where you will make your own souvenir, guided with the instructions of a local artisan. |
10:30 | Arrival in La Palma where our artist Fernando Llort lived for many years in search of inspiration, as a result he became the creator of the technique of carving wood and seed husks, applied in the development of local crafts. He founded a cooperative and showed people how to work with wood and seed husks and paint them with vibrant colors. The art of Fernando LLort became a phenomenon that impacted both locally, nationally, as well as internationally, creating a new cultural identity through the craftsmanship of La Palma and its peculiar style, it became a symbol of identity and form of community life. |
